The MBAA First Annual Summer Retreat Was a Blast!

On July 9th and 10th nearly 50 Kellstadt alumni, students and incoming students got together in Oregon, IL for our first annual summer retreat.  Activities included team building initiatives, swimming in the pool, making s’mores around the fire pit, a light’s out scavenger hunt/challenge course in the castle and lots more.  It was a great way for old and new students to connect outside of the school setting and really get to know each other.  Shaun Washington, the Executive Vice President of the MBAA, said, “I have never seen students connect so quickly from one event.”  Many of the students have expressed interest in having the retreat at the same place next year and are looking forward to more off-site events later this year.  If you weren’t able to make the retreat don’t worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to have some fun outside of class coming up.  Hats off to Jason Mezyk for putting together such an awesome experience!
